At quae venturas praecedit sexta Kalendas, 705
hac sunt Ledaeis templa dicata deis:
fratribus illa deis fratres de gente deorum
circa Iuturnae composuere lacus.
705 On the sixth day before the coming Kalends a temple was dedicated to Leda’s divine sons1: brothers of the race of the gods founded that temple for the brother gods beside Juturna’s2 pools.

Castor and Pollux. The temple had been dedicated anew in A.D. 6 by Tiberius, who added the name of his dead brother Drusus to the dedication.
